Upon completion of your course, you should intend to return to your nation of normal residence. Unless they are already Weidenfeld-Hoffmann scholars, students at Oxford presently are not qualified to apply.

You should be able to show a link between your research topic and your long-term career goals, explaining how you see your professional work contributing to improving government life in your home nation or at a wider national or global level.

During the selection phase, the above characteristics will be evaluated, including using your application form, your Weidenfeld-Hoffmann Scholarships Questionnaire and (if applicable) your interview.

This scholarship is not open to applications from candidates who hold deferred offers to start in 2020-21.

To qualify for this scholarship, candidates must be effective in being offered a position in their course after considering requests received for the course by the appropriate January deadline.

Applications for courses to be re-evaluated after the January deadline against applications obtained by the March deadline or requests for courses placed on a waiting list are not eligible for account for scholarship.

You will be needed to participate in an interview if you are selected for the scholarship, which is likely to take place via Skype in April / May 2020.
